The key theme of the Hackett report was transparency of data, not just for fire related assets, but for all compliance. The Search for True Compliance

For fifteen years our co-founder Matt Rawlings worked in social housing. For ten of those years he worked as a consultant concentrating his efforts on Compliance. He has managed all aspects of Compliance. While working with one of his clients, he found the current offerings either a spreadsheet or a bolt-on to another system. The data was always incorrect or incomplete and a lot of the documents and certificates were saved against the wrong property.
Matt spoke to his friend, co-founder Graeme Kilkenny, to vent his frustrations about the lack of system support to manage something as important as the safety of customers.
Graeme Kilkenny has worked as a developer for thirteen years, has run his own agency and worked at some exciting start ups. He suggested that the document should be the source of data, which would reduce human error. The data would then be tested before being allowed on the system, ensuring that all that is stored is good clean data. Graeme put together a proof of concept using this methodology and True Compliance was created.
